Battle Drones is a start-up game development company based in Auckland, New Zealand. They have a global team of game developers, partners and community members that love gaming with a focus on telling stories and immersing players in the Battle Drones universe.

History

Inspiration

Founded in July 2021, Battle Drones was inspired through a passion for drones and a love for gaming. Having completed their engineering studies, the founders, Ahmad Duais and Salim Alzubaidi, took to the drawing board alongside the creative mind of Ambrose Bennett, and so the Battle Drones universe was born. What started as an idea amongst highschool friends has since turned into an full scale project with an international team, busy working towards the launch of their first title, Battle Drones: Red Rock Resistance.

Direction

Battle Drones is striving to build their own ecosystem of games that expand upon a rich universe, full of comical characters and detailed environments. They are expanding a library of games that utilise all forms of media and storytelling techniques to give players an immersive experience. Built on the Unity engine, their games can easily be extended to all gaming platforms, providing greater accessibility and a more diverse community. The goal for Battle Drones, first and foremost, is to create memorable gaming experiences that players can enjoy and participate in on a deeper level.
